Jenson Button has said that a wet weekend at the British Grand Prix could enhance McLaren's chances of beating Red Bull.
"Sorry guys but if it rains it is not so good for fans sitting out in it, but for us in terms of our pace in the wet and in terms of a result, wet weather could be good. It definitely does mix it up a bit. Our car seems to work well in the wet. We've proved that on a couple of occasions and if you look at the pace in Valencia you would say we were nowhere near close enough to the Red Bulls."
"Whether that is going to be the same when we arrive at Silverstone, as we do have changes to the car and there is a regulation change, I don't know. I hope not. I hope we have made some good improvements. It is going to be tough to beat the Red Bulls. We always knew that but we won't know how difficult it is until Friday and the practice sessions."
