2010 MONACO GP: ALONSO FASTEST ON MORNING PRACTICE

Surprisingly times of the Ferrari cars in first free training session for Monaco Grand Prix. In previous friday sessions they never drove with so little fuel in cars, so Alonso today had the best time recorded in Monte Carlo, just slightly ahead of Sebastian Vetel and Robert Kubica. The difference between the three fastest was only 0.089 seconds. Session took place in perfect conditions. Fears that there will be chaos on the track because of the increased number of cars and the big difference in speed between the favorites and new teams have proven to be false, i.e. there were relatively few incidents.
